Teachers can develop students’ writing ability by teaching them how to write informative compositions based on an interview. A fun way for students to practice their interview and writing skills is to interview a friend and then write about the answers.
Students will use question words to write five interview questions and interview the others who were given a job role and record the answers. They will then use the interview answers to write a composition.
Students acting as interviewee will be given a job role, example: policeman, butcher, fireman, teacher, scientist etc. They can use their imagination in answering the question, yet the whole interview is conducted using English language.
Let's see how was it!
